Auditions
Salem Singers auditions for the 2021-2022 school year are now closed.
Congratulations to all our new Salem Singers!!
We have returned to our normal audition process this year:
All auditions will be done in person.
2021-2022 7th, 8th, and 9th graders may audition to earn a spot in Salem Singers.
If you are interested in Singers, you must be able to commit to participate for the entire 2021-2022 school year. There are no exceptions.
Audition Procedures
Sign up for an audition time on the choir bulletin board.
Fill out the audition form you will receive at your audition.
Prepare to sing about 1 minute of a song from memory with an accompaniment or karaoke track. If using a karaoke track, it should not have any voices singing along, and you should not look at the words. The song should showcase your best singing.
Complete the music theory pre-assessment on your own with no outside helps.
Additional Information
Please wear best dressed for your audition.
You will not be given the result at the time of your audition. The audition results will be posted on the choir bulletin board, usually by the following day.
