Salem Youth Chorus Attire (5th Grade Choir)

Gentlemen: Hair is clean and well-groomed, deodorant worn if necessary, no cologne to avoid student sensitivities, no jewelry. White collared dress shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, black dress socks. Youth Chorus bow tie is borrowed from the school and is checked out before each concert and returned immediately after each concert. Damaged or lost ties must be replaced with Formal Fashions Style 8250 - Bow Tie in Royal Blue Royal Satin, and can be ordered HERE.

Ladies: Hair is clean and pulled back from face, deodorant worn if necessary, no perfume to avoid student sensitivities, small neutral-colored earrings permitted, no other jewelry, tasteful makeup permitted. White blouse, black skirt, black tights/nylons, black dress shoes. Youth Chorus cummerbund sash is borrowed from the school and is checked out before each concert and returned immediately after each concert. Damaged or lost sashes must be replaced with Formal Fashions Style 8450 - Cummerbund in Royal Blue Royal Satin, and can be ordered HERE. 

Salem Chorale Attire

Gentlemen: Hair is clean and well-groomed, face is clean-shaven, deodorant is required, no cologne to avoid student sensitivities, no jewelry, tasteful black belt with conservative buckle permitted. White long-sleeved collared dress shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, black dress socks. Chorale ties are purchased through the school at the beginning of the year, but if you miss the order you must order yours from Formal Fashions Style 8261 - Classic Windsor Ties in Blue Brocade Taffeta, which can be ordered HERE.

Ladies: Hair is clean and worn half-up, deodorant is required, no perfume to avoid student sensitivities, small neutral-colored earrings encouraged, no other jewelry, makeup is required (mascara, blush, lipstick). Black long-sleeved tee, black floor-length skirt, black tights/nylons, black dress shoes. Chorale cummerbund sashes are ordered through the school at the beginning of the year, but if you miss the order you must order yours from Formal Fashions Style 8450 - Cummerbund in Blue Brocade Taffeta, which can be ordered HERE.

Salem Singers Attire

Gentlemen: Hair is clean and well-groomed, face is clean-shaven, deodorant is required, no cologne to avoid student sensitivities, no jewelry, tasteful black belt with conservative buckle required. Singers attire is purchased through the school at the beginning of the year, but if you miss the order you must order yours from Formal Fashions. Tie is Style 8261 - Classic Windsor Ties in Royal Blue Glitter Knit, and can be ordered HERE. Shirt is Style 2109BK - Black Dress Shirt and can be ordered HERE. Pants are Style 2702 - Flex Fit Waist Dress Pant with Double Pleated Front and can be ordered HERE. Pants must be hemmed to comfortably touch top of shoes, but it is recommended you hem some extra fabric inside the pant legs rather than cutting it all off so you can take the hems down later rather than purchasing new pants after a growth spurt.

Singers attire is purchased through the school at the beginning of the year, but if you miss the order you must order yours from Formal Fashions. Glitter knit gowns are Style 4833NX - Glitter Knit Bodice with Performance Knit Skirt in Royal Blue and can be ordered HERE. Skirt must be hemmed to touch the ground EXACTLY, but it is recommended you hem some extra fabric inside the skirt rather than cutting it all off so you can take the hem down later rather than purchasing a new dress after a growth spurt.
